At the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, I lead a large research team in investigating how emotional intelligence can make the most positive difference in children’s and adults’ lives. My research focuses on the role of emotions and emotional intelligence in learning, decision making, creativity, relationships, health, and performance. Here at the Center I lead a large research team in investigating how emotional intelligence can make the most positive difference in children’s and adults’ lives. This research informs the development and continuous improvement of our Center’s evidence-based approach social and emotional learning (SEL) approach, RULER, where I am the lead developer, as well as workplace practices and policy.
